Toa Payoh Town Park (currently not available)First developed in the seventies as a landscape park, Toa Payoh Town Park was then all the rage as a bridal photography location with its willowing trees, and cluster of islands linked by bridges on a large pond. Today, the park is revamped with a cascading waterfall, fountain pool, a freshly-painted viewing tower and adorned with trellises. It also comes furnished with amenities such as an open-concept restroom, a large sheltered pavilion, and little gazebos to provide rest and shelter to park-goers. Situated at the heart of Toa Payoh town, the park is easily accessible via public transportation, with an MRT station (NS19 Toa Payoh) and bus interchanges just an overhead bridge (3-minte walk) away. The park is sandwiched between Toa Payoh Lorong 2, Toa Payoh Lorong 6 and the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE). At Toa Payoh Hub and the nearby town centre, there are many F&B outlets to choose from, including fast food restaurants like MOS Burger, MacDonald’s, KFC, other restaurnats like Pasta Mania (they should deliver to the park), Delifrance (they do deliver to the park, we've tried it), Sushi Teh, Swensens, Crystal Jade, as well as food courts and many others.
